After the budget, participatory harvest in Paris!

YOUR SECATEURS - From 15 to 18 September, the City of Paris offers to those who wish to help professionals make the harvest in the vineyards of the capital.

Everyone is invited to participate in the grape harvest in Paris.

The City of Paris maintains indeed several vineyards on its territory. Five of them are harvested each year and produce wine. A wine expert advisors is mandated to municipal officials in the culture of these vines and closely following all the steps leading to wine making.

"These original areas of nature in the city have a heritage role and educational value," the City. With this in mind, the City of Paris organizes Wednesday and Saturday two harvests participatory, open to all.

On October 4, many other events around the vines will be organized in the districts on the occasion of the celebrations of the harvest of Paris: the Bercy Park (12th), the park Georges Brassens (15th), the vineyards of Montmartre (18th ) at CHAUFOURNIER garden (19th) and Belleville Park (20th). On the program: wine advice plantation, cultivation and maintenance, quizzes around the vineyard, vineyard tours, excursions and tastings.
