Paris: 800 migrants evacuated from their settlements

EVACUATION - Authorities have evacuated early this Thursday morning, two camps of migrants living near the Austerlitz station and the town hall of the 18th district of Paris. They welcomed nearly 500 people, but 800 were eventually supported.

 The camp was on borrowed time. Since the evacuation of the one located in the metro La Chapelle June 2, that of Australia, located in the city of fashion and design in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, was in the view finder of the authorities. Thursday morning, he was evacuated at around 6:00 and the camp outside the town hall of the 18th arrondissement, in a transaction expected that ended around 10am.

The two sites accounted for more than 500 people - mostly from sub-Saharan Africa - including 400 for the only site of Austerlitz, installed for several months. According to a provisional statement of the municipality of Paris, nearly 800 people have been taken care of and will benefit from emergency accommodation.
